Mystique — Tag cloud — Increasing number displayed
-
Is there any way to change the tag cloud widget so that every tag I have is displayed, rather than just the top 45?
Free version.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, there is no way to change that. The problem with tags is they can grow to huge numbers. I have a friend that has over 600 tags and that would take up a huge chunk of the sidebar and cause visitors to go “tilt.”

Hmm… I left my sidebar empty on purpose so the whole list could show up.
Is there a page where I can view every tag, though? I mean, it seems pretty silly, to have tags that you can’t easily access, you know?
(I’m new to WordPress, so I apologize for my probably very beginner questions.)

You can see them in your dashboard at posts > post tags but there is no way to display them on the public side of your site unless you wanted to manually create a page with all of them on it and then update it whenever you added a new tag.

That seems really strange… and oddly inconvenient. Even Dreamwidth and Livejournal had a http://journal.dreamwidth.com/tag kinda deal.

Nothing like that here. You might want to suggest it to staff in the ideas forum. It wouldn’t be that difficult to implement I don’t think although there would be 100+ themes that might need some tweaking to the CSS and theme files.
Still, worth suggesting to see what they say.

I’ll have to browse the forums tomorrow and find this Ideas forum you mention. Thanks, though!
