  Not very happy, my featured post shows up on every page and has been a full image across the top of my site but today it seems to have decreased in size. How did that happen……

  I took a look at your site and it appears that you have deleted a few posts in the past couple of days. Is it possible that one of the posts in your trash was featured? If so, please restore that post and you will see it once again at the top of your site.
