Naked domain not working with Google Sites

  Hello.

  I linked my domain to a pre-existing Google Sites website, but you cannot visit unless you do http://www.poopisland.org, instead of poopisland.org.

  The various methods I have tried do not work, and previous forums are not helpful.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  I see that the domain is still using WordPress.com nameservers. Am I right in guessing that Google Sites don’t offer nameservers as a method to point domains to sites hosted with them?
  
  Do you happen to have a link to the instructions you used to set up the domain connection?
