Naked domain not working with Google Sites
-
Hello.
I have a domain that I set up a few months ago. However, it has annoyed me to find that if I attempt to access the website with a non www. prefix, then it stalls.
I have read in a recent post that it cannot be done. I have tried WWWizer with no luck. Does anyone know how to do it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
So http://www.poopisland.org is hosted with us here at WordPress.com, and is the secondary domain under masonpickett.com. However, the domain’s A Records, TXT, and CNAME are pointing to a different site not hosted with us. Looks like it may be hosted with Google? Is this how you wanted everything set up? Do you want the domain to forward to masonpickett.com? -
Hi.
I do not want it to redirect it to masonpickett.com, that is a seperate website. It is pointed to a Google Site. I want users to be able to go to the website without having to enter www.

Hi there,
When I use poopisland.org to get to your site, there is no stall, delay, or any sort of lag from my end. I am using the Chrome browser and reach the site with no issues. What sort of delay are you seeing? -

Update: I guess my old browser has something off about it. I access it with my cellphone and it works.

Hi there!
It was working for us as well. I think it had something to do with the browser cache. I understand you’re all set now, correct?
