name change

  I want to change my name from cmacdaid to Essentially for Everything on my main page, but cannot seem to do it properly.

  I’m seeing that you have a your WordPress.com site named: essentiallyforeverything.wordpress.com

  but that you have a custom URL that is: cmacdaid.net

  Is that what you are trying to switch? To have essentiallyforeverything.wordpress.com displayed as the URL instead of cmacdaid.net? Because I’m seeing “Essentially for Everything” pretty much everywhere else.

  Yes, I did figure out how to change everything except the URL.
  Can it be changed?

  You can set essentiallyforeverything.wordpress.com to be your primary domain by logging into your WordPress.com site’s Dashboard and clicking on Store–>Domains. Then choosing it as the “primary”.

  If you want to find a new custom domain (essentially-for-everything.com for example), click on Store–>Domains, enter the domain you want in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.
