Name change

  OK, I know this was stupid, but I need help. I changed my blog name from myname.wordpress.com to somethingelse.wordpress.com. I just recently had business cards printed with the myname.wordpress.com on them and need to change it back. I’m not extremely tech savvy, so I could use some help….please don’t laugh. :D

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I won’t laugh, because it’s not funny. In virtually all cases, this is not possible and the old URL is dead. Until you give us teh URLs in question, starting with http, we cannot help further.

  Okay, so on the blog you do NOT want, go to the dashboard Tools page and click Export. On the blog you DO want, go to the Tools page and click Import. That should put the content on the site you want. You can just set the other one to Private on the Settings->Reading page.

  Usually in these cases you are because the old site is deleted. You’re lucky.
