Name Change

  Hi,

  I was using sinplayer.wordpress.com for years but decided to make some changes and changed the name of my blog. Now I need that name for my new site but I it seems not available and already in use.

  What can I do to keep using my name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I checked the previous site you mentioned sinplayer.wordpress.com

  The site stands deleted by the authors.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com). Official Link

  Hence, it’s not possible for you to have the previous URL you had.

  You may contact with the WordPress.com Support Staff to confirm on the matter.

  Workaround:

  Though it’s not possible to have the previous URL, you can change the site name by following the instruction here.

  First link you gave has an option to reclaim the address. I will try it right away.

  You are most welcome.

  Please note:
  
  It is possible to reverse a site deletion for the first 30 days after a site is closed.

  Hence, if you have deleted your previous site within 30 days, contact WordPress.com support immediately.

  WordPress.com support team will be able to assist you in restoring your site during this 30-day window. Once the 30 days have passed, all of your site data is purged and cannot be restored, and the site address is deleted and cannot be reused.
