Name change to free domain name

  Hi! My last name has changed and so I would like to change my free domain name to match. I have been able to change all of my other information, but can’t seem to find a way to change the domain name without upgrading my account. Can you please help me do this? My new name is Jamie Eowyn so I would like the domain name to be jamieeowyn.wordpress.com

  Hey there,

  You must be logged in as the Admin under the same username account that registered the blog to change the URL. Your desired URL must also be available.

  Follow these steps to alter the URL: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  Hi there,

  Just to add to the above, I checked and jamieeowyn.wordpress.com hasn’t been registered by someone else yet, and it’s not currently reserved, so you should be able to change your site to that address as explained on the support doc @amiteshg93 linked to for you.
