Name changed everywhere apart from author of each post

  I changed my user name. I started blogging as Mary. I now blog as Abby. The name change is reflected everywhere apart from when I post each post – it states the author is Mary Boid (old name) not Abby Boid (current).

  I have changed name under user, how I want name to appear publicly, and on my Gravater. G+, Facebook, email all changed to Abby

  Can anyone help? Many thanks.

  Hi Abby,

  I did some investigating and I think I’ve figured out why your old name is appearing on your posts:

  When you connect your Google+ profile to your blog, we pull in your Google+ profile information and use that name as your author name on your blog. However, even though you updated your name on Google+, it hasn’t been updated yet on our end.

  Can you please go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, remove the connection to Google+, and then reconnect it? There are two connections on that page: one under Publicize, and one under Google+ Profile. The Google+ Profile connection is the one that controls the author name on your posts.
