name, e-address remains in “leave a reply” field
-
The most recent poster of a comment’s name and e-address are remaining in the leave-a-reply fields for the next person to see. Is there a way for these to just show blank instead? I’m not looking to show others’ e-addresses or names, and I don’t think anyone posting will be too pleased about it.

I just went to your site, and the fields are blank. Once someone leaves a comment, when they go back to leave another comment, the system will remember them and enter their name and email for them (I presume through a cookie). A new person going to leave a comment will not see the previous commenter’s email address and name.

It’s always nice when links to blogs are active and usable :)

Thanks. I’m new to WP and was sending test comments from my own mac just to see if the comment function was working, which would explain why I’m seeing them.

I’ve heard this from someone else who found her info showing up on a google search of the blog. I’m meeting with her tomorrow and will report back what I find, should it be anything other than a mistake on her part.
