name server

I am having trouble mapping my domain (customwoods.co.za) to my WordPress site. I have gone to my domain supplier and followed your instuctions, adding ‘NS1.Wordpress.com to their records. Yet , still there is no link between yourselves and my domain name. Can you help?

Since this is an international domain, we need to add a zone record before you can point your nameservers to it.
I have manually added a zone record for your domain, so you should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

also why does the front page of my new blog have a 404 error? why cant i edit this page?
sorry for all the newbie questions. -
You can give them any one of the 3 IPs, but make sure that they’re changing the nameservers, not an A record. Domain can’t be mapped via an A record.
The Not Found error is appearing because you haven’t published any posts yet. Once you publish a post, the error will go away.
