name server keeps changing

I changed the name server to point to WordPress, as requested, and realised that it was a mistake. I realised I wanted to link the blog to my website and not my website to my blog. I had purchased domain mapping and so I deleted it and changed the name server on my host to point back to them (123-Reg (Prev. Supanames)). Since then the name server changes every few hours so that one minute my website works perfectly and the next it goes straight through to WordPress. My blog is up and running but I want the name server to point to my host and not WordPress. Any ideas?

You’re probably right, however I did contact support and they have just replied telling me to give it time. I’m was desperate to sort it out since my website is down. Thank you and apologies.

No problem. I have experienced that desperation feeling. When I did I had to remind myself that it’s just a blog and it takes time for the change to propagate throughout the internet.

If you’ve set your nameservers back as they were, you will be fine.
It indeed takes time. Any DNS change can take up to 72 hours to percolate fully across the internet.
