name server mapping conflict with google

    Hi,

    I want to map my domain over to our company URL, but I have a conflict with Google. We use Google apps for business and run our e mail etc through them. In order to do that we had to point our name servers to google. If I now point my name servers to wordpress I won’t be able to use Google for my email and shared folders etc. Is there a workaround?

    Hi Liz,

    You can map your domain to a WordPress.com and keep using Google Apps for your email. We have instructions for how to add email with Google Apps on this page:

    You will need to map your domain before you can complete the steps on that page, so you may experience a slight interruption in email service while you make the switch. If you would like any help mapping your domain or adding your Google Apps email to your domain, please let me know!
