Name server reverted?

  Hi, i have purchased a domain besides hosting.

  Now i am moving hosting to DigitalOcean, and therefore i wanted to make the domain go to that server.

  Yesterday i changed the nameservers to on http://www.iprefertobenaked.com to the digital ocean name servers and the update worked after adding a zone file one DigitalOcean.

  Now today, the site is again going to the wordpress blog, even though a whois shows that the Domain has the correct nameservers on digitalocean.

  Can anyone shed some light on how this is possible?

  It looks like you’re all set. The hosting says Digital Ocean: https://cloudup.com/cfj08hwLYbp

  Sometimes it takes awhile for changes like that to work their way around the internet. If you’re still not seeing the correct site, try flushing your computer’s DNS: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

  Okay thanks for the info.

  I flushed the dns cache on my mac with:

  sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

  Still the same from copenhagen, denmark. But through various VPN’s both german, english and romanian, the correct site is shown.

  Interesting, maybe my local ISP has cached the old IP. Weird when it worked for a few hours. I guess i will give it a few days then.
