Name Servers
-
I purchased a domain through http://www.netregistry.com.au. I am building my website using wordpress.com. I have recently mapped my domain to wordpress.com. I am trying to setup my email address to be (email visible only to moderators and staff) – I activated email forwarding to go to my personal address when emails are sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff). However, I receive the error:
Your nameservers need to be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for these email forwards to work. If you have already updated the nameservers you can ignore this message; it will stop appearing soon.
I have no option of “Name Servers” in my domains. So how can I make this update?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you might still need to change your name servers at netregistry.com.au so they point to your WordPress.com website. You’ll need to log in to your account at netregistry.com.au and go to the DNS area to add the records. Here’s the detailed info on how to do that:

@susanhayse Thanks so much! I have gone to http://www.netregistry.com.au and updated the name servers. From what I read I will have to wait upto 72hrs for details to be updated. Does that mean after 72hrs I should be able to visit http://www.createinvitations.com.au and it will direct to my wordpress page? and also my custom domain email forwarding will become active?

@susanhayse – also once this 72hrs is up. Will name servers and other options become available in my domains in wordpress?
-
It may happen more quickly than 72 hours – in my experience I usually wait less than 12 hours for it to happen. After the name servers update, you’ll see your WordPress.com blog when you go to http://www.createinvitations.com.au.
You should be able to see all the DNS information in your WordPress.com Dashboard right now (according to the support document). That’s under Store > My Domains.
Don’t forget to make the recommended email changes.
