Name servers and A record
-
Hi,
I’ve moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org, I deleted the .com site & hosted using bluehost.com, they tell me that the name servers and the A record of the domain still point to wordpress.com
Could you point your domains nameservers to ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com and the A record to 69.195.124.195 ?
Many thanks
Robert

Thank you for adding that information. Your domain is registered at GoDaddy, so log into your account there to update the name servers. Here is their guide for that: https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-us-12317

Note that the underlying .wordpress.com blog URL has been deleted.
Note also Move a Domain Using Custom A Records https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/setting-custom-a-records/ -

Note also Move a Domain Using Custom A Records https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/setting-custom-a-records/This would not apply with a domain registered at GoDaddy.
