Name Servers and new website

    Hi! I recently changed to Wix, and tried to transfer my domain name. Part of it was changing the Name Servers, and once I did that my wordpress site vanished. I changed them back and still gone.

    Does anyone know how to get my website back? I needed to copy the information off it before I deleted it.

    Hi there,

    For what site is this? The account you’re using to post here has never owned any custom domains on WordPress.com.

    If this is regarding a WordPress site at another host, please contact that host directly for help. By changing the name servers you effectively disconnected your domain from their servers, and you’ll need to follow their process to reconnect it in order to access the site again.

    When migrating a site between hosts or platforms, switching the domain should always be your last step, as the moment you switch your domain to the new service, the old site will no longer be accessible at the domain.
