Oh, didn’t know I will get redirected here. Anyway, I will appreciate if anyone can help me. I have been trying to change the DNs of a domain but it is not changing. It keeps reverting back to the old DNS.
This is causing me money as the site goes down too often ( and pulls down other sites with it ) due to the small hosting it currently his which I want to change from.

http://www.thebottomcorner.com/ is not hosted here and we cannot help you with it. What exactly are you trying to do? How is what you are trying to do a WordPress.COM support issue?
-
Well, I just purchased the website from the previous owner. He is pointing the DNs to the wrong place and I have tried to make sure the Dns is pointed to the right place all to no avail.
The domain was bought via wordpress.
I tried editing the DNs via https://thebottomcorner.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains.

Exactly what do you consider to be the right place please? Are you trying to set up domain mapping from http://thebottomcorner.wordpress.com/ to http://thebottomcorner.com/

I am sorry if I am sounding dumb but yes, in this situation I am dumb.
I am hosting with hostgator.com. I had the domain on my VPS but it keeps bringing down my account due to the amount of traffic so I decided to purchase another Vps account for it which has been activated but pointing the domain ( thebottomcorner.com ) the DNS NS1.ARSETALKS.COM and NS2.ARSETALKS.COM from NS1.GOONERHEAD.COM AND NS2.GOONERHEAD.COM has failed.
Once I change it to NS1.ARSETALKS.COM and NS2.ARSETALKS.COM and click on save changes, it will be successful but once I close the page and reopen it, it would have gone back to NS1.GOONERHEAD.COM AND NS2.GOONERHEAD.COM which is not the right place I want it pointed.
I have been on this for 3 days now.

Thanks. I appreciate your help. This is so frustrating for me. I even tried moving the domain from wordpress to namecheap to see if that will solve the problem but it seems it is on lock for 60 days due to whatever agreement the previous owner signed with wordpress.

You have done so much of this and that that it would give me a migraine to try and figure out what’s going on. Staff have a backlog so please be patient while waiting.

I am sorry to be a pain but I will like to know if you found any solution for me yet. This is losing me big money every day.

The name servers for thebottomcorner.com are currently pointing to CloudFlare.
You can adjust the DNS through CloudFlare to point to your desired server, or change the name servers here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/
Please note that when a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache:
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache:
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
