Hello WordPress members. To embed my blog in my website, I have been told I have to ask you what nameservers I need to point my domain to you hosting server, then change my nameservers on my domain. Frankly I have no idea what that means. Can anyone help please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
As I can understand from your query, you were trying to link a domain you own to your existing WordPress.com blog. Correct?
Linking the domain you own to your WordPress.com blog is called domain mapping. To do this, you first have to purchase the domain mapping upgrade from WordPress.com. Using this feature, you can either purchase a fresh domain from WordPress, or point an existing one that you own (a domain that you had purchased earlier from a third party domain registrar like GoDaddy, Hostgator, or name.com for instance).
Now, to map the domain you already own, you would have to point it to your existing WordPress.com blog, right?
The easiest way to do this is by changing the ‘nameservers’ of your domain. A name server is a system that helps to point your domain to the web hosting service (in this case, your WordPress.com blog).
So, to point your domain to your WordPress.com blog, all you have to do is to log in to your domain control panel (i.e. by logging in to the credentials of the web host from which you purchased your domain). There, you’ll find various options, which will include changing nameservers of your domain. You’ll have to delete the default values and set the following as the nameservers:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COMI understand that this could be a little confusing. However, if you could share with me the domain you purchased as well as your web host, I can guide you by providing appropriate instructions about how exactly to change your nameservers and to map your domain to WordPress.com.
You can find more information on domain mapping here:

Hi Hari, thank you. I am actually trying to do something much more simple than that. I am building a website on godaddy. There is a widget that allows you to display blog posts. You just have to type in your feed, and it is supposed to work. At first, it did not recognise my feed, so I asked godaddy for help and they misunderstood what i was trying to do and gave me this wrong information.
Now, it does recognise my feed, but it says there are no posts to display. I am lost… Perhaps there is something I have to press on wordpress? There are ways to link to facebook, twitter etc, but not to a website.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nicola -
Okay, I fixed it by adding the link with /feed on the end! I am clearly an idiot. Thanks for the help anyway, you inspired me to try again.

Hello Nicola,
Apologies for the confusion.
Are you trying to create the static website using GoDaddy’s website builder? If yes, this tutorial should help you:
