Nameserver Conflict

I am moving my blog at salaamgarage.com to a WordPress.org site.

I have been building and testing the site and am ready to go live.

Salaamgarage.com had been redirected to salaamgarage.wordpress.com. I removed the domain redirection via the WordPress.com admin panel.

I also checked that the new host is the nameserver for salaamgarage.com (both in the admin panel and via NSLookup against “salaamgarage.com ns1.mediatemple.net)

The issue I am seeing is that when I do a general nslookup of salaamgarage, com I am still seeing it pointing back to WordPress.com Even an NSLookup against the WordPress.com servers shows this.

Is there anything I can do to make sure that WordPress.com does not still think it is the nameserver for salaamgarage.com?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think this could be the correct forum, especially if the domain is locked by WordPress.com

Okay then your next step is to contact staff directly and see what they can do to help you with this matter. Most of the volunteers here in the forums won’t have the knowledge to help you with this matter thats why I recommended wordpress.org

Here is staffs contact link http://support.wordpress.com/contact
