Nameserver Issues
-
I cannot change my nameservers! I’m away that I can’t tranfer domains for 60 days but is this the case with nameservers? Why are my nameservers not allowing me to change them? It automatically checks the link that says I wanna park my domain! Confused…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I really need help! I’m attempting to update my nameservers to point to my wordpress.org blog. I bought my domain through wordpress.com and everytime I go to change the nameservers to godaddy.com it defaults back to wordpress nameservers! I though unlocking my name would do it but nope! Can anyone help me change my nameservers?
-
Have you read the Domain Management Instructions?? http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/
-
Yes! I followed the instructions completely but when I input my new nameservers it defaults back to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
and when when I try to change it checks “park my domain”.It’s frustrating!
-
Then the best bet is to contact the support staff: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Yeah, done that. But it always takes them a while to get back to me…sigh. I wonder if anyone else is living my misery right now.

@kharonshelli
Please be patient. Staff will reply to your support ticket when it comes to the top of their queue. -
I’m in the same predicament : (
Now I’m just waiting for the Happiness Engineers to respond…*sigh*

I, too, am in the same situation. I follow the directions exactly, click OK, then it defaults right back to the
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
If you ever receive an answer (I, too, entered a ticket), please share any solutions or tips on here. Thanks. -
It’s not you guys. There’s an issue with the Domain Manager nameserver feature at the moment. See this post:
