Nameservers

Hi. I am wanting to move my wordpress domain to a different host. I have changed the name servers to the correct ones as per the instructions. When I press save, all seems to work but if I log out and come back in the name servers have reverted back to the wordpress name servers. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m having the exact same problem with a site that I am working on – http://panafr-erc.org/. I changed the nameservers to a Hostmonster address yesterday and I haven’t seen the update yet. I understand that it may take 72 hours but I was also under the impression that it’s normally a very short process.
Am I doing something wrong?

I am having the exact same issue. Nameserver changes keep reverting on me when I try to switch them to Namecheap’s. It says “Success!” when I save changes, but once I log out and log in again the servers have switched back to WordPress.

So it appears that there is a slowdown currently at our registrar. We are looking to see what we can do on our end of things. But at the moment, the answer is that these nameserver switches should go through, it may just take longer than usual.

the confusing thing is that after you save, when you go back, it’s reverted, there’s no indication that tells you that the settings have been modified.

On our end, it is saved. Things are working correctly. The issue is on the registrar’s end.

Has this matter been resolved yet with your registrar? Still unable to save the name servers.

It’s still not working for me and I made the updates to the nameservers several days ago.
Is there any word on when this issue might be resolved? Is there anything that we should do in the meantime?

However, I will also post updates here.
Frustratingly, I have no update at the moment. I will see if there is anything new on the situation first thing tomorrow.

This issue should be resolved now.
You may need to re-request whatever change you were attempting to do (transfer domain, change nameservers, etc).

Great news. Looks like the new nameservers that I’m entering are finally sticking. I’ll let you guy know when the information has been updated.
