nameservers
-
I upgraded my account to be able to map an existing domain I own to my wordpress page. I went to my registrar and updated the nameservers to point to ‘NS1.WORDPRESS.COM’, etc. as instructed. However when I go to my domain URL, it still does not take me to my wordpress page. I tried clearing my cache but no luck. Please help!

Hi!
It looks like the domain is now working correctly on my side. When I load kenny.ly, I’m seeing your site kennytly.wordpress.com. Can you try setting the custom domain as the primary domain here?

Once you do that, you’ll want to clear your cache again following the steps here:

Strange. When I go to kenny.ly, I’m still taken somewhere else (about.me), even after clearing my cache. Tried other devices and same thing. Now that I made it my primary, going to kennytly.wordpress.com also now takes me to about.me.

Here’s what I’m currently seeing at the domain kenny.ly:
Is this still not working properly on your side?

Your screen shot looks accurate, not sure it isn’t working for me.
I’m actually not getting anything now. IE tells me “This page can’t be displayed” and Chrome tells me “This webpage is not available”. Same thing happens whether I go to kennytly.wordpress.com or kenny.ly. Tried clearing my cache and on multiple devices, but same results.

Hi Kenny,
I temporarily set your primary domain back to kennytly.wordpress.com while we get this sorted out. Can you let me know if that URL is loading correctly on your side?

It looks like kenny.ly has some A records added in.

Can you try to remove them?
-
It did look like that at one point. But I removed the A records a few days ago I thought. I double checked my registrar just now. I only have the 3 NS records you shown above.
-
Hmm…I’m not quite sure why it’s still not popping up. Is the domain still busted? If so, can you let me know where you’re located (geographically)?
-
It’s actually working for me now. Looks like the changes just needed time to replicate everywhere. Anyway, thanks for the all the support and patience on this.
