Nameservers are not taking

  Hi. I updated my nameservers at godaddy (as i have done previously for several WP blogs) and godaddy and whois are telling me that they are correctly pointing to WP. However, WP is not recognizing the nameservers… still says that the old godaddy nameservers are in use. I waited three days. Now have reset on godaddy side to try again. No dice. Would love some help. thx.

  Even stranger, i just tried to point another domain to a new blog just to see what happens – and it took immediately. Dunno if there’s a difference between .us and .com tlds? The .us isn’t working. The .com is.

  Hi,

  I’m seeing the nameservers for brandmobile.us as being set to:

  NS19.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
  NS20.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

  So for whatever reason, it doesn’t seem that the nameserver update was successful. Can you try again and let me know what happens?

  Doh!
  For reasons of pure dumb-headed-ness, I got my own domain backwards when purchasing the mapping. Corrected now and all good. Thanks.
