Hey there. my site was hosted by Bluehost and I have changed to Hover. I believe that I needed to request to them to change my nameservers, is this correct? I gave them –
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comWP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there!
That would be correct if you wanted to connect your custom domain to a WordPress.com site, however, I do not see any of those on your account.
What WordPress.com site are you working on? We’ll be happy to have a look and advise. Just bear in mind you’d also need a paid plan to be able to connect a custom domain:
-
My client has no idea where his ks-digital.ch is hosted? How to find his website hosting?
-
I believe I have a paid plan? I can get one if I do not.
My website is “mindfullmicro.ca”
I changed my URL yesterday to that from “http://box2415.temp.domains/~indfulr9” and now I can’t get into my WordPress at all.
I am very new to this and not sure how to correct my mistake or where it went wrong. If I requested them to change my name servers to WordPress and then I went into my general settings and changed both my site address and WordPress address to mindfullmicro.ca is that not correct?

Hi @mindfullmicro, got it. Your site isn’t hosted here, so we can’t fix it on our side. But your host can likely help you with one of these options that will work with your copy of WordPress:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/Then if you need more help with the free WordPress code, you’ll want to use these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Here’s the difference between the free WordPress software and our managed hosting services:
https://get.wp.comBasically we provide SSL hosting, maintenance, security, spam filtering, etc. Our paid plans get direct support, and we have this community forum for those who use our free tier hosting. Let us know if you have any questions for us.
And, @brianjames124, I’d recommend whoishostingthis.com . Hoping that helps!
