I have my domain registered with godaddy. I want my domain to point to my wordpress account so godaddy said I need to add wordpress name savers to my godaddy account.

The subscription for domain mapping an existing domain is $13.00 per year for one blog.
You need to have an underlying .wordpress.com blog URL to domain map from to the domain URL.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog and purchase upgrades for it.

After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the primary blog set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet.
