naming a blog

  Hello,
  I set up an account but now I want to name the blog something different. How do I go about doing that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have a website for my counseling practice. I want to have a link to on my website linking to my blog. I want to call it “Turning the corner.” Would that be my nickname or my username or something else. Can you tell this is very new to me? Thanks for your guidance and support.

  Change the title of your blog

  Dashboard >> Settings >> General >> Change Title or Tagline – remember to save changes (at the bottom of the page)

  You can change the Title of your blog without changing anything else

  The title of my site (linked to my name) is several words long, My display name is different and my account name (the name you see to the left of this) is yet something different

  The display name (nickname) appears when you comment on other blogs or if you are shown as the author of posts on your own blog. The display name is not shown in these forums: that is the account name. Often the account name matches the link to your primary blog (but not always). Confusing?

  Here is how you’d write the link:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
  (If your hosted site is not using WordPress.org software—with JetPack—the process will be different) Could be placed in a text widget or a custom menu.
