Naming etiquette: Someone on blogger with same name

  Hi!

  I just started my blog scantilyglad.wordpress.com a few days ago, and I’m (obviously) new to this. I now see that someone using blogger has a blog with the same title at scantilyglad.blogspot.com, though theirs hasn’t been updated since 2006.

  Should I change my blog name? I don’t want to, but will if it’s the right thing to do. Or, do you think it’s okay since theirs is so old and they are on a different platform all together? Or, if I make it it’s own domain at wordpress.com, would that be better? I don’t want it to cause a grievance down the road.

  Any insight would be most appreciated. Thanks, everyone!

  No. There is no need for you to change the blog URL.
