Naming password protected pages

  When I password protect a page, in the menu it becomes ‘Protected: Name of page.’ Under Appearance, I found that I could rename the pages on the menus and deleted the ‘Protected.’ It disappeared on the menus but ‘Protected: Name of page’ continues to show up elsewhere on the site. When I change the name of the page in the menu, I want it to be universal and get rid of the ‘Protected’ label but can’t figure out how to do it.
