Nantius Theme – a few modifications needed!

    Hi!

    I have a few questions that I’m hoping someone can help with. We’re getting close to launch but still need a few tweaks.

    In our menu, if you choose “Our Team” – and then choose “Derby Girlz” – it brings up another drop down menu with a list of all of our members. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the roster is so large it goes off the screen. I’m hoping that we either can completely eliminate this menu and that people would have to go to the “Derby Girlz” page in order to find a list of the girls to click on, or that there is a way to make the font smaller or make there be less space between all of the choices.

    Second question – I’ve eliminated the post title, but if possible, I’d like to eliminate the box that the post title was in. I can’t seem to find that in the CSS

    Third – we don’t want our posts to start so far down in the text box. The higher up the picture can start, the better. Is there a way to set that?

    Thanks in advance!

    Oh! and one last one I forgot:

    We’d like to remove the “Browsing: Home” Option as well –

    If you have not, create a custom menu and that will give you complete control over the arrangement of the pages and which pages show and which do not, in the menu. Custom menus offer great flexibility and a lot of different options and they put you in complete control.

    Perfect. Got the custom menu done. Thank you!

    Just second third and fourth questions left- yay!

    Sorry, I’m trying to do too many things at once.

    2. Add this to the end of your custom CSS.

    .entry-utility {
    display: none;
    }

    3. On the post on the main page, you have a blank paragraph above the image and that is what is holding the image down. Open the post in the editor, switch to the HTML tab and delete the blank lines above the image code and then update the post.

    One other thing: You need to take your background image and optimize it for the web. Right now it is huge and takes a long time to load on my wireless internet service (file size: 750k).

    If you save it as a low to medium quality JPG, then you can drop it down between 175k and 300k which would be much better and your visitors will thank you.

    Thank you – will do with the optimizing of the images on the site

    I have a question to add to my 4th now of removing the “Browsing: Home” Option as well –

    I managed to remove the post title off of the home page, but not off the rest of the pages, i’m going to attempt to find it, but if you happen to have a quick answer..

    Thanks so much for your help!

    That is the “breadcrumb” navigation.

    .breadcrumbs {
    display: none;
    }

    And do this as well.

    .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }

    Excellent – I was afraid to play with the breadcrumbs :)

    I have entered the .entry title line, and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything, but I’ll go back through it :)

    Breadcrumb worked awesome – so now for some reason, under everything except the home page we have a title. Which isn’t a huge issue, I might just have to put the padding box back around it if we can’t figure it out :)

    You have not done this:

    .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }

    I’m not seeing it in your custom CSS at all.

    Oops! I had entry utility. Thanks!

    Success! You rock :) Made my day SO much easier
