  Hello,

  I am having multiple issues while designing my nav bar, first the menu shows up vertical and there is grey hover bar and white background I can’t seem to get rid of.

  I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
