Navigating back to the Home Page
-
I’ve read the support pages, and all the other resources and I still can’t get my Home page to connect to the other menu items so that the reader can navigate back to the home page from the other pages. I’ve tried it all and am going in circles. I keep getting page not found and the url is moragaartgallery.com/coming soon.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What’s going on here is that you’ve set up a Custom Menu which is what is keeping the Home page pointing the way it is.
The way you can edit this is by going to your Dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Menus. From the drop down menu up top you’ll need to select the Test menu, which is the one you have activated. You can then edit this menu as much as you’d like and then click “Save.” It will be reflected immediately on your home site.
For more information on Custom Menus you can refer to this help page:

I did that. However, when i go to “about’, or “ask the gallery”, or my other menu items, then try to navigate back to “Home” it still says “page not found”. So how do I connect each one to the home page?

Heya!
That is really weird. I couldn’t get it to update either. What I did instead was recreate the menu with the correct home page and it is working great now! I’m so sorry for that inconvenience!
-
sooo, are you saying to delete the whole menu as it is now and start over? I’m a bit scared to do that.
-
No, not at all! It should now be working for you, as I’ve gone in and re-set the menu correctly. Please feel free to check out your site and see if it’s working correctly for you now! Make sure that you refresh the site (you might need to clear your cache by following these directions to make sure you’re seeing the most recent version of the site: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies).

Gee, it works! thank you soooo very much. I was afraid that I would screw something up royally if I did it. I wasn’t the one to set up this site originally, so I wasn’t too confident to start tweeking it. Thanks again. W
