Navigation Bar Issue (with twenty thirteen theme)

    Hello,
so i’m working with one of my companies websites : https://www.brooksrandinc.com/

this is the first time i’m looking at the site – it is using the twenty thirteen theme (but it has being renamed brooksrandinc)

I am trying to edit the nav bar, i have tried everything i can think of.. I cant see where the actual nav bar is to edit… when I go to appearance>menus , I can create a new menu, but not edit the current one..

When I try to customize the theme, again, the nav menu doesnt show up… If i change the theme, the current nav bar (which i cant edit, disappears) and the one i created in the appearance>menus is now displayed..

When I ‘inspect’ the site – I can see the navbar code , but I have no idea where it is on the back end… its like i do not have access to it?

    has anyone ever experienced this?

  • Hey there, Twenty Thirteen is an older theme with a somewhat different menu structure.

Can you be sure you’ve created a single menu with multiple links, then set put a checkmark in Display location: Navigation Menu ?

Going forward, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here on our servers, but there is another forum for the free WordPress software. You can find that here:

    Hoping this helps!
