Navigation in WordPress

I’d like to lodge a complaint about recent alterations to the navigation bar in WordPress. I have 2 current blogs and it used to be very easy from inside the admin area of either blog to access the blog itself (up the top bar, click on ‘My Sites’ and the drop down offered a quick opportunity to change blogs or to view the blog’s main page (in either case). Very fast and functional. Now all that has gone. One keeps ending up in the main working area (pale blue) – and I HATE being sent there unless I choose to go. As for getting back to the working blog’s main page – that’s a mission. Go back to my website and click the link? I don’t call that very helpful.
Please, I am not asking for a long list of instructions on how to navigate this monster. Please just put things back as they were, for the benefit of users.

Thanks for your feedback. If you don’t mind, I’d like to get some information about one of your points in particular.
As for getting back to the working blog’s main page – that’s a mission.
When you say main page, do you mean viewing the site as a visitor would? Without any of the editor elements or options in the left menu?
Once I know more about the point above I’ll pass your feedback on to our designers.

Thank you. Well, as you can see, it’s about 3 months since I was posting regularly, and the whole navigation used to be so smooth I’m struggling to recall – but I do know that just before I stopped posting (early Jan) that navigation seemed to start going haywire and I kept ending up in the main working area (pale blue). But the old dropdown box from “My Sites” on the top bar gave a short series of options – change site being one of them – and from that you could quickly get to a view of the current site’s front page and then hop back to editing.
Something else I don’t think the designers consider – that dropdown from “My Sites” now is a big, long, ugly, widely-spaced thing. The further you have to reach to choose options the longer it takes.
Incidentally, from where I am here in the Forum, the dropdown from “My Sites” is different again – actually much tidier, though it also offers the same changed options.
