Navigation menu does not change

When I go go appearance->customize->menu there are no menu that looks like the main menu on the page and If I chose a custom Primary Navigation nothing changs. If I go to appearance->editor I can change the mainmenu, but I can’t add new parent links from there.
I’m using a mobile device if that matters
I’m confused. Thank you in advance.

I actually just want all my pages to be in the primary menu, could some one from WP support help with that?
as you can see in the pictures beneath the choosed of primary menu is “main”, but the one showing on the site is some other one.

You can try using “Use Site Editor” which solved the issue for me :)
>Click “Use Site Editor”
>Select Navigation from design page
>Click on Navigation shown as below
>Add the pages as you need. Save the changes

The problem is that I cant add new links that way. Maybe it’s because I’m on a mobile phone. But there are no select button:(
I can add sub menus under the existing pages, delete and change the order of the existing links, but not add a new parent link. There seem to be a transform to page list. Do you think you could change the menu and transform it into a page list for me? Since I’m out biking 7000 km from home, it’s hard to find a computer so I’m stuck with my phone.

Hi @mattejohan, the full site editor navigation settings are still being iterated on and may be tricky to edit on mobile. We’ll share that feedback too.
If you have access to a larger screen, that may be easiest. If not, this seems to work for now:
Start while editing your header, just for simplicity. That link should work.
Use the three dots in the upper right to get to Settings.
From there, you can see a list view. You can add menu items or remove them as needed, or just insert a Page List.
