Navigation Menu is Gone.

    Hello there.

My wordpress web site was designed by someone else, and I am attempting to learn enough about it to take it over fully. My navigation menu has disappeared and no amount of tinkering with the menu options seems to make any difference at all.

As someone else designed my site, I am a bit lost as to how the wordpress application functions. I am able to log in and make edits to my site, but in the editing process, I have never had to run MAMP or any comparable program. I am ready and eager to wrap my head around this – would be so grateful for some illumination! Thank you.

I think your blog isn’t a wordpress.COM blog, but rather a wordpress.ORG one, you should head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support for assistance. I’m not sure how much help they will be, but, that’s the place to ask.
