On the website I created when I access it on a mobile the top menu navigation doesn’t work and there is only a usable menu toggle at the bottom. How do I correct this?

  • Hello,

I have verified that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. In this case, you use the self-hosted version, the software of which is available on WordPress.org.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are different. Check it out: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

This forum is only focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

You can contact your host directly to get help with your issue.

WordPress.org community forums can be a good place to ask for help with this:http://wordpress.org/support/forums

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check your theme’s mobile menu settings: Many themes have specific options or settings for displaying the menu on mobile devices. Check your theme’s documentation or support forum for guidance on how to configure the mobile menu.
    2. Check the CSS code: Make sure that the CSS code for your menu is written in a way that allows it to function properly on mobile devices. This may involve adding media queries to your CSS to adjust the menu’s display for smaller screens.
    3. Check your plugins: Deactivate all of your plugins and then reactivate them one by one to see if any of them are causing the issue.
    4. Check for any errors: Check your browser’s developer console for any errors that might be preventing the menu from functioning properly on mobile devices.

    I hope that helps!
