navigation menu text color change in css

  hello…. i just upgraded to css and while i sweat i tried reading the tutorials, my attempts did not work. can someone please help me change the text color in the navigation menu? http://www.rivierahomeowners.wordpress.com. i need it in white… any instructions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! thank you!
