Navigation (menu) wraps to second line
-
The navigation or menu bar on my page http://buildabrighterfuture.org wraps to a second line when it is on the “tax exemption” page or the “levy and bond page.” It almost seems like the menu is set for a shorter width than the page because there is clearly enough space for all the menu items to be on one horizontal line.
I have tried adjusting the width by using the css editor (I have the custom design upgrade) but have been unable to figure out the right code to put into.
I have been pouring through the forums this morning and found quite a bit on adjusting and formatting the menu but none of the width adjustments I made fixed this problem.

I’m thinking this might be a browser issue. I’m using Chrome and I see all the items on one line. What browser and version are you using? What resolution is your monitor set at?
-
I’m using Firefox 8 and I see page tiles in the menu bar on the same line. I agree with raincoaster. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/
Do you have another browser you can try? -
I’m using Firefox 8.0 and my screen resoultion is set to 1680 x 1050. All the items appear on one line when the “Vote Yes” page is selected and when the “About” Page is selected. But when I select the “tax exemption” page or the “levy and bond page” than the “tax exemption” menu item wraps down to a second line.

Sneaky little bugger that one was as it only happens at a certain narrow range of browser window width. Add the following to the bottom of your CSS.
#branding .only-search + #access div { padding-right: 0; } -

I’m not seeing that in your custom CSS. Double check that it is still there and save the stylesheet again.
-
I don’t see that CSS either. Make sure you’re editing the right blog’s Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page.

Yikes! You are right it was gone.
Not sure how I mistook that. Thanks again for helping me get this blog off ground.
