Navigation Submenu fills entire screen

I have a “hamburger” menu. But when i click it the entire page gets filled, and only the text appears. I want it to somewhat drop down or atleast only fill a quarter of the screen when its clicked. I have no idea how to do that.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there, I did not see a hamburger menu in action on your site but I can confirm that this theme is designed to show a full-width menu (upon expansion) and this is something that cannot be edited or modified under your current plan.

It may be possible to edit the width so it does not cover the entire page, but to consider this option you will need to be upgraded to our Explorer plan, which will allow custom CSS code to be added that will help to define the width of the overlay. It’s worth noting that the Explorer plan comes with may other features (including more customization tools that do not rely on code) but I do want to point out that since you have already upgraded to the Starter plan you would not pay the price shown here, you would only pay the difference in cost between the two.

Regarding a dropdown menu styling, that is not something that would be easy to accomplish with CSS alone, so for that you may need to consider installing a mobile menus plugin, which you can use to override the default one with a custom one created by the plugin:

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
