Nearly no contrast for background and font in the markdown-editor (hever-theme)

    There is nearly no contrast in the markdown-editor for background and font-color (hever-theme). Seeing the lightgrey letters on the white background is very complicated through this.

    It would be very nice if there is any way to fix that. Thank you for your support.

    Hi there,
    You can change the theme color from your_site->Appearance->Customize
    From the next screen click “Colors & Background”. From here you can change the default colors of your theme as you wish.

    thank you for your thoughts and that tip.

    The problem does not affect the general depiction of my page – users are seeing the contrast I had selected – also in the markdown parts I made.

    The problem affects only in the markdown edit mode. The background-color of the editfield is white (not in my custom-colors) and the font is the foreground-color of my custom-colors. Of course I could use other colors (that works) but my whole site is coherent and the problem is only when I want to edit markdown.

    In other blocks like “Code” the colors are only black and white and that fits independent of the custom-colors… Something like this would be very nice and rational I think.

    I can’t help but agree with your reasoning here, and I suspect that the behaviour you are seeing is unintended. We’ve reported this issue to our dev team and while I can’t give a timeline for when it would be addressed it’s definitely on their radar.
