NEAT BLOG POSTS; BEST THEME?

    Hello,
    Can anyone help please.
    I udpated to a premium site and I am still not happy with the appearance of the blog posts. I told a customer care agent what I wanted to do and feel that they did not fully comprehend what I asked for.
    The theme is ‘Purpose’. Ironic.

    What is the most user-friendly theme where I can show blog posts WITHOUT displaying the date?
    What is the neatest theme that will only show a few lines of text from each post?
    I have gone through so many menus and tried to fix this, but it is not happening.

    I do not want to spend any more money. WordPress took €2 from me for a Stripe payment taken via my site and I find the navigation of all this quite difficult.

    There is load of information but to me it is not clear enough! Any help appreciated.

    It sounds like adjusting the post excerpts is what you need. Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content. See here how you can customize that:

    A good idea would be to utilize custom CSS for this. Custom CSS is part of the Customizer, and is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans. There are various ways to get support for your website on WordPress.com, here they are:
