Neat! template change
-
Hi, I chose the Neat template and I liked the flower motif at the end of the keyline under sidebar headings. In fact I reflected that motif in my header design. But now the keyline and motif have disappeared. Have I done something to make that happen?

Have you been tinkering with the CSS at all? Normally you shouldn’t be able to break something like that without the CSS upgrade. If you haven’t got that upgrade, it’s possible there’s some problem with WP’s image servers, which would be unusual.
Nice header, btw.

I haven’t got access to the CSS yet. I even loaded a different template and then reloaded Neat! so that it should have reverted to the original.
Thanx for comment on header. I’ve had feedback that it might be a too feminine and put chaps off.

I looked at the Neat theme in my test blog and the flower motif is missing there as well, so it’s something with the theme and not just unique to your blog. I actually Googled the theme and I couldn’t find the original template, just a few blogs using it.
The motif should be listed as an image in the CSS but I can’t see it. Maybe it was removed for some reason, to make it more androgenous? You could send an email to support about it. Or you could save the image from the other blog, host it somewhere like Flickr and put it in your sidebar… that’s about all I can think of. It’s very strange.

Thanks, I’ll contact support. It’s not a huge thing, but still, I think the side bar looks kind of unfinished now.
Cheers! :) -
I have been using the Neat! template since I started, and the flowers have never been there until today. What’s up with that and how can I get the flowers to go away?
