Need a bit fixed CSS help needed ASAP
-
Okay so I hope this is ‘thesacredpath’ as he has helped me from day 1 with my wordpress so he knows
My blog is getting a lot of traffic (i am creating a small business and will be upgrading to business, BUT, i have heaps and heaps of traffic coming to my blog and i need to make it easier to navigate)
SLIDE ACROSS MENU ISSUES
You know how you helped me get things underlined? i LOVE IT LIKE THAT, but in my menu my headings and subheadings are not properly up
when you go on you will see that the “LIFESTYLE BLOG” part is right but the others are not and it makes it confusing. So should I make a new menu and fix this? i can’t seem to do it myself and make headings go over <<< a bit.
Also, the writing is a bit big and I would like it if it was mayvbe smaller or there was more space between lines (but as you told me before we have to make sure it’s suitable for all devices) so I know this! Also, in my theme and main page where recents posts are, the scoll bar is grey and its hard to see it, could we do anything about this.
ALSO , do you think I should keep my recent posts on the main page ? I think i might do this but a static page might make it easier!!
get back to me when you can and ANY suggestions about making my blog easier to navigate will be welcomed!! I am starting to get lots of traffic and may eventually have to hire IT help (especially in regards to google adwords and coming up in keywords – but i cannnot pay too much at this point) AND IT WORK MAKES MY HEAD HURT YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE HERO FOR DEALING WITH IT HHAA.
so the main headings in the menu will be
– BEAUTY B
-FASHION B
-YOGA B
-LIFESTYLE B
AND i also want a
PERSONAL B
tell me what you think we should do and if i;m gong to have to change the menu! its annnoying because lots of traffic is coming through but i need it fixed! I’m okay with CSS but for now don;t have time to play around with inspector element!!
thank you

Hi there, Home, All Blog Posts, Categories and Lifestyle B are top level menu items. Beauty B, Fashion B and Yoga B are submenu items of Categories, which is why they are indented below Categories. You can try this, which flattens the menu bringing the submenu items to the left underneath the top level menu items.
.main-navigation .sub-menu { padding-left: 0; }On the menu, what I might suggest would be to get rid of the top level menu item called Categories and make Beauty B, Fashion B, etc., top level menu items. Then, using Fashion B as an example, make Fashion Posts and Our Independent Fashion Bloggers submenu items of that.
The color of the scrollbar is controlled by the browser itself. We cannot change the color of that.
