  provide access to certain plugins without having to buy a business plan.

  Hey there,

  Unfortunately plugin access is feature only available to those who have upgraded to the Business plan.

  As alternative though you may be able to achieve what you are looking to with the use of the Google Calendar which is basically the only functional calendar you can use on a WordPress.com site on the free plan.
