Need a gallery based buddypress plug in?

  I want my buddypress users to be able to upload content on the fly which is then uploaded all on one page, then I would like a widget tied to this page which then shows the latest pictures shown onto my homepage. I tried buddy press media plugin but it only seems to allow users to upload media within their account. Anyone know of something I am looking for? I might be able to set something up aside from buddypress but then I think any public person woudl be able to upload a picture and I like to regulate content somehow to atleast my subscribers / buddypress users. Thanks for any help / ideas.
