Need a grid page

  I wanted to change my blog section up a bit. I wanted to make the blog page a parent page for my blog postings and instead of postings and instead of them being post pages be actual pages. I tried to set the blog page up as a grid page so I could feature three “blogs” with the circle photos on the home page. Under the setting drop down it doesn’t show grid. There is default, eventbrite, full page width, full page grille and temoignes. What am I doing wrong??
