need a password protected directory

    i need a password protected directory that i create that in the server.

    that gives me one password and one username and people can access that to get to whatever is in the directory.

    it’s so the press can download a zip file of mp3s of an album for it’s press release.

    i have mapping and domain paid for to wordpress.

    is there way to create a page like that here?

    Sure, just make a password-protected page or post. If you don’t have the space upgrade, you’ll have to host the MP3’s elsewhere and hotlink them. If you do, you can upload them here.

    The domain mapping upgrade has nothing to do with this. It only changes your URL, it does nothing else.
