  We don’t offer IP addresses for sites hosted here at WordPress.com, but you can map a domain to your site by changing your name servers:

  http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  I changed the nameservers and it disrupted my email service.

  when i go to the store and try to add an email, it says

  Email Setup

  Oops, it looks like you don’t have access to verify the domain in question.

  You have to be logged in under the same username account that purchased the domain mapping upgrade.
