You can see a lot websites over internet. Basic static page include a header image or a slider at top of the page followed by content

Hello, think about what you want to see when you visit a website. It needs to be tailored to your subject and currently people, and Google are both enjoying having a large amount of text, this needs to be relevant and original. It is worth using Copyscape to check your content is original. Include some great high quality images and videos.

Personally, I think it’s best to keep your site neat and clean, and avoiding unnecessary clutter (too many widgets) and distracting images and backgrounds.
